Zambia Airways is Zambia’s relaunched national carrier, restarted in 2021 as a joint venture with backing from the Ethiopian Airlines Group, and hubbed at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka. Its regional long-haul route is flown on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and since 2024 it has connected Lusaka directly with Dar es Salaam three times a week, continuing on to Nairobi.
