Dar es Salaam

Dar es Salaam is Tanzania’s largest city and commercial hub, sitting on a natural harbour on the Indian Ocean coast (its name means “haven of peace” in Arabic). While the seat of government has moved to Dodoma, Dar remains the country’s main business hub and the busiest entry point for international flights.
