Flying RwandAir to or from Tanzania? Here’s everything in one place — real routes, baggage rules, and a direct link to manage your booking or check in, no digging through help pages required.

RwandAir launched in December 2002 (rebranded from Rwandair Express in 2009) and is Rwanda’s wholly government-owned national carrier, hubbed at Kigali International Airport. It isn’t part of a global alliance but maintains codeshare partnerships, including with Qatar Airways, and serves more than 25 direct destinations. For Tanzania, RwandAir flies direct to Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar — the Zanzibar route runs 4 times weekly — all connecting through Kigali.
