Auric Air is a Tanzanian domestic carrier based in Mwanza, with a secondary base at Dar es Salaam. It operates a fleet of Cessna Caravans and other light turboprops on scheduled and charter flights connecting Tanzania’s mainland towns with Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia Island — popular for beach-safari combination trips and for reaching towns not served by the bigger jets.

Baggage Allowance
Standard allowance: 20kg total per passenger (15kg checked, 5kg hand luggage), in soft-sided duffel bags only — rigid suitcases generally can’t be loaded into the aircraft’s cargo pods. Maximum bag dimensions are about 60 x 45 x 33cm.
Excess baggage: subject to available space and charged per kilogram — arrange in advance where possible.
Sports & special equipment: due to limited cargo space on light aircraft, bulky sports or camera equipment should be flagged when booking so it can be weighed in with your allowance.
