Today you have the option of either taking a packed lunch and spending the full day in Serengeti National Park, alternatively you can have an early game viewing returning to your lodge for a late breakfast. In the great Serengeti kingdom, the large predators – lion, leopard, cheetah and spotted hyena – remain locked in an age-old battle for supremacy, with millions of herbivores as their quarry. Learn their fascinating way of life and interact with the tribe before continuing with your journey to Karatu where you will spend the night at Endoro Lodge.

Depart the lodge with a packed lunch for the crater after an early breakfast. There is absolutely nothing that can prepare you for the extraordinary sights that awaits you, as you descend 2,000 feet into the mouth of the crater and onto the crater floor. You’ll discover yourself in a sea of unspoiled plains swarming with animals. The amazing caldera encompasses a self-contained ecosystem, which sustains one of the greatest and spectacular concentrations of wildlife on earth. Fondly referred to, as an African Eden, the Ngorongoro crater floor teems with 30,000 wild animals, almost half of them being zebra and wildebeest.
